The key differences are outlined in the pdf below; we are only noting the differences, otherwise assume Juno can do everything that Duo3 can.
At Babybee, we believe every parent deserves the best — whether it's the unbeatable value of our Duo3 or the next-level innovation of the Juno.
The Duo has been a favourite since 2019, and it’s no surprise! With over 2500 glowing reviews on Product Review, the 2024 Best Double Pram award, and a 4.8-star rating from Bounty parents, it’s one of the most loved prams on the market. For parents looking for the best value, especially with its current discounted runout price and all included accessories, the Duo3 is an excellent choice. And rest assured, parts and accessories will continue to be available for years to come.
If you're looking for the absolute best in pram innovation, however, the Juno is our top-tier option. With superior build quality and advanced features that set it apart from everything else, the Juno redefines ease and comfort for both parent and child.
Either way, you're choosing one of the best prams available, and we promise you won’t be disappointed!

Can I have the bassinet up top in double mode and is this safe?
Absolutely! Keep them comforted and close for your peace of mind and theirs or move the bassinet down below if your toddler requires your attention. Your toddler can even face the bassinet to entertain their new best friend.
In regard to safety, experts agree that having your baby within eyesight and reach is the safest option. You’ll also find that being able to see your face will keep them more settled.
We take safety very seriously which is why Juno was designed to comply with the mandatory and voluntary Australian safety standards as well as European, Canadian and American standards. And unlike competitor products it passes this configuration as well as all configurations listed on our website. We designed it like this because we know its what parents want!
Will it fit in my boot?
We recommend measuring your boot space and comparing to our folded dimensions. The frame when folded is 64cm x 38.5cm x 81cm and the bassinet and seat can be moved around to maximise space.
Is the bassinet approved for overnight sleeping?
The short answer: no.
The long answer: no pram bassinet in Australia is approved for overnight sleeping, and all pram bassinets must display a warning label stating that you cannot use the product for unsupervised sleeping. Here’s why:
Pram bassinets are much narrower than a sleeping bassinet, meaning less room for baby to safely sleep. Even with mesh sides that are breathable, when a baby's nose presses up against the mesh it can block their nose causing a suffocation risk. As babies breathe almost exclusively through their noses until at least 4 months of age, ensuring they have enough space to sleep is essential.
Some brands will advertise their products as "approved for overnight sleeping" or sell stands that allow the bassinet to be removed from the pram and attached to the stand to act as a regular sleeping bassinet or cot. These products have been designed and tested to standards from international markets and are not recommended by peak safety bodies in Australia. Being an Australian company, we design products that specifically meet the Australian Safety Standards, and take advice on product safety from Australian experts like Red Nose and INPAA, who expressly discourage the use of any pram bassinet for unsupervised or overnight sleeping.
Can I fold it with 2 seats on?
Yes, you can! Making it easy and compact to store your pram out of the way whether in cafes or at home after each outing. Practically speaking, not many parents will want to lift and carry a double pram with two seats attached, so when lifting is involved, you’re likely to want to remove at least one seat.
Are the Babybee Duo or Rover range seats or bassinets compatible with the Juno frame?
No. They are completely different models and have different connection points and adaptors so parts aren’t compatible between them.
Is there ventilation in the bassinet mattress?
Our bassinet is designed with effective temperature regulation in mind, but we don't use mattress ventilation holes as they provide no meaningful benefit. What's truly important for your baby's comfort and safety is proper air circulation throughout the entire bassinet, which is why we have included multiple ventilation options and allow you to completely remove the bassinet cover while keeping your baby covered with the pull-out UV cover. The head-end ventilation panel allows air to flow through freely, especially when moving the pram forward while walking. The mattress cover is also made from bamboo, a natural fibre that is also moisture wicking. This helps prevent overheating on warm days, which is essential since newborns are still developing their temperature regulation abilities.
While some brands market mattress ventilation as a safety feature, research shows that without an active fan system, holes in the mattress make no noticeable difference to air flow or cooling, and "ventilated” bassinet mattresses do not provide any safety benefit to your bassinet.
Is the seat suitable for a newborn?
No, due to the bucket seat design of Juno, we recommend newborns be placed in a bassinet or baby capsule (just note the 2-3 hour usage limit on baby capsules).
Juno has the largest seat in its class! Flat-lay seats which are suitable for newborn use, can be handy for the first 18 months if you aren’t using a bassinet. However, after this point you’ll find your child outgrows the seat very fast. Especially when reclined, their legs will stick out uncomfortably, far beyond the end of the seat. With a bucket seat, their legs remain in the same comfortable, bent position and maximising longevity. The Juno will comfortably accommodate children up to 5 years.
What are the wheels made of?
A high-grade PU. This material was carefully chosen for it’s durability. Unlike EVA or engineered rubber (ER) wheels, you won’t see any marks or dents over time with PU and it will wear much better. They’re also lighter than solid rubber and don’t require any maintenance like air tyres do. So they’re gravel-proof and built to tackle any terrain. The innovative raised strip in the middle reduces friction with the ground and they boast10 ball bearings to deliver an ultra-smooth stroll!
Is there ventilation in the seat back?
No. When we tested a prototype mesh seat with our test families the feedback was that the mesh wasn’t as comfortable for their kids, the seat became less durable and it also meant the seat liner had to be removed making it much harder to keep clean. In hot temperatures, the feedback was that the kids were hot regardless of the seat type and they couldn’t report a difference. Hence why we chose the seat we did!
