Brand and Marketing Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Brand and Marketing Manager with a passion for eCommerce who thrives on autonomy and seeing the results of their efforts directly impacting the business.

A focus on performance and outcomes, we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running to develop and lead creative online brand campaigns that continuously position Babybee and our brands as a brand of choice in the pram and stroller industry.

 

Reporting to the CMO you’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating and managing our yearly Marketing Calendars including sales, competitions and other promotional activity, seeking new ways & opportunities to drive relevance, build engagement and drive customer acquisition in a crowded & competitive digital space; (2 brands and 3+ international markets)
  • Developing and managing multi-channel promotional campaigns to be implemented by the marketing team across owned and paid channels.
  • Setting and reporting on brand and campaign metrics and KPIs
  • Continuously optimising and improving “always on” advertising campaigns to deliver the best results across 2 brands in 3+ markets.
  • Launch planning and coordination for all new product lines; including project managing launch tasks and timelines across the wider team, briefing and coordinating production of creative assets and customer facing comms, and working closely with the product team to ensure a seamless marketing launch for NPD.
  • Create a PR strategy for each market we’re in, and be our brand champion for partnerships, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Identify new initiatives and develop a roadmap prioritising the current list of initiatives identified, including identify new online, BTL and ATL brand channels and opportunities.
  • Advocate best practice and research new industry trends/opportunities.
  • Conduct regular market and customer surveys and research in order to better understand our place in the market, test hypothesis, and refine our KVP.

 

SKILLS AND EXERIENCE

  • 4+ years of experience in managing an eCommerce or consumer-facing brand
  • A Degree in Marketing/Digital Marketing or similar
  • Excellent Project management skills that allow you to manage and deliver multiple projects to multiple deadlines
  • Ability to think strategically and identify growth opportunities within other market segments
  • Creative flair and a passion for finding new innovative ways to communicate a brand message
  • Analytical understanding of tracking, optimisation and reporting on digital campaigns and activity
  • Understanding of digital marketing automation tools and platforms
  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviour

Marketing Coordinator

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the marketing team and executing our day-to-day eCommerce and digital marketing requirements.

The role would suit someone with a passion for small business growth who thrives on seeing the results of their efforts directly impacting the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

    • Coordination and implementation of the marketing calendar and initiatives across all channels.
    • Reporting and analysis of key marketing metrics.
    • Briefing in content and creative requests to our in-house designer.
    • Assisting in research tasks relating to new products, international markets and customer insights.
    • Managing the day to day requirements of the website ensuring all website information is correct, clear, uniform and up to date.
    • Assisting with the coordination and implementation of social media campaigns.
    • Various marketing admin tasks to support the Marketing Manager.

Key skills & experience:

  • Minimum 1 year proven experience working for an online brand or in a digital marketing or eCommerce role.
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, business or similar.
  • Shopify experience favorable.
